Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel The Great Gatsby -- which, you may recall, had already been turned into a pretty good movie once or twice -- and do it in 3D, no less, it was hard not to wonder what had possessed him. But now that the third (and presumably final) trailer for Luhrmann's Gatsby has dropped, it's obvious that "possessed" is the right word to use -- specifically because this is a production possessed of uncommon style, heightened drama, and visual splendor.
